Last time we spoke, you asked “what really drives you?”, and suggested I read “Think and Grow Rich”. I wanted to tell you that based on our conversation and after having read a few chapters, I understood. I spent some time soul searching and following one interest after another, until one really “stuck”…
I’m sure I’ll have more to update in the coming weeks/months, but, as the book says, I figured out what I wanted to do, and then IT found ME! I “magically” reconnected with a Thunderbird colleague in the past few weeks, and he invited me to become a part of a new venture – a project he and I are working diligently on (which is on the cusp of getting VC funding). A project, an idea, a vision I TRULY, truly believe in, as you said.
Thanks again – our conversation was a true inspiration. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the next meeting!
